The event A Blighted Cause is a Horror event, which will include:
Should you ever feel affected out-of-character by a situation that you can not handle, we recommend you remove yourself from the situation using a call (safety calls will be told to all players), and going to our designated space to calm down. If you ever require help please ask us. We will never judge and will always put your health first.
Sexual harassment will not be tolerated. We ask all participants to avoid sexual threats, jokes and insinuations of any kind, regardless of who you are talking to in-character and out-of-character. We do not include any dark sexual themes in our game.
If you experience or see something you believe to be sexual harassment, please notify the game team as soon as you can, as we take it very seriously. Sexual assualt can vary from receiving unwanted physical contact to being harrased and verbally made uncomfortable. Please be aware of the players around you and treat each other with respect.
If you are unhappy with your sharing arrangement, for example you feel unsafe or uncomfortable, please inform us. We will always endeavour to put you in a more comfortable situation.
The game team does not accept any excuses for breaking the equality and diversity policy, especially deliberately upsetting someone based on their out-of-character circumstances.
Being drunk, tired, or annoyed by in-character actions is not an excuse. You must take responsibility for your own actions and accept the repercussions, which will always be judged on individual incidents. Depending on the severity of the incident, The Calling staff reserve the right to take actions such as issue verbal warnings, remove a player from play for a length of time, remove a player from the event, and ban players from attending any future events run by The Calling. There is no appeal process to being removed or banned from events.
